It’s been a long time since the last post. A lot has happened around here (new theme, some new sites, etc). We’ve consolidated our network, meaning that we sold some sites and added a few new ones. This post is just a quick hello…and nope…the ingoalnetwork isn’t dead, far from it, it’s very much alive and kickin!

So…long time no update, let’s change that.

Nothing spectacular to report, some of the network sites where moved to a new network, the browsetastic network, which is now hosting all the proxy related websites. Apart from that, some of the existing sites were updated…no new additions though.

…title says it all: Mostly up and running again. After some minor quirks during the restore process, we’re (almost) back to normal. Some sites may still be blank, but the majority of sites is back in good shape…some even with a new design:

1. proxytastic.com - now running strictly on cgiproxy. We kicked the PHProxy part as it didn’t work properly with sites requiring logins (e.g. MySpace) anyway.
2. proxytastic.net - the new sister-site of proxytastic.com
3. proxytastic.org - the new sister-site of proxytastic.com
4. proxytastic.info - the new sister-site of proxytastic.com

I’m young and I need the money…

Edit: I decided not to sell the site for that “little” money, IMHO it’s worth much more given it’s status within the proxy community and all the listings. So, yes I “needed” the money, but I won’t give it away at all cost…

FYI: TheCGIProxy.com has been sold…as agreed upon in the sale the links to it will stay up for the month of April, then they and the site are gone…

As an extension of our most well known proxy, we’ve launched a corresponding proxy top list, where you will be able to find the best webbased proxies from around the world. Spread the word and add your proxysite!

As our servers are getting hammered by more and more requests each day it’s time to make a move. There are two possibilities:

1. Get additional servers
2. Sell some sites

I’ve decided that 2. would be the right way to go atm. So I’m putting TheCGIProxy.com up for sale. If you are interested head on over to the namepros thread.

I recently bought the site remindmeto.org, which is a reminder site like the name suggests (”remind me to …”). The basic functionality is: you sign up, once that is done you log in to your own panel and can enter “reminders” into your own calendar…the site will remind you on the day of the “reminder(s)”.

Unfortunately the site was nowhere near ready to run when I bought it and so I’m launching this, but just as a beta as there’s still work to do on the backend. Feel free to signup though, you can be one of my beta-testers!

Currently known issues:

1. Reminder emails are delivered with little information (just the name of the reminder) and is not well formed at all
2. The goals functionality doesn’t work yet
3. Reminder emails are delivered at 00:10 german time (GMT+1 = ET+6)

Nice to have (not prio 1 atm - suggestions welcome!):

1. Reminding in correspondence to your own timezone (i.e. PST, …)
2. Dynamic reminding x hours before an event (this is going to be a tough one)
3. FAQ/Instruction page(s)
